"Pick up" Service for Waxoyl jobs
Note: at the time
of writing (24 march 08) I have only just moved to new premise near
Rugby and have yet to recruit new drivers - so this service is not available
temporarily. It should be available again around May.
I can now arrange a pick up
for your vehicle and we can leave you a courtesy car for the day. We
will then bring your vehicle back when it is finished and collect the
courtesy car. The courtesy car is free of charge - you just pay £8
an hour for my driver's time and for the petrol used in the (very frugal)
Fiesta. If you want the vehicle picked up just click "require courtesy
car" and then "pick up" on the booking form (see instructions
underneath) If you need to drive the courtesy car you will need to get
a comprehensive "replacement" cover note for the courtesy
car from your insurers. (Some insurers will do this free of charge,
some make a nominal charge.) We will contact you a day or two before
the date you have booked in to make arrangements with you. We will usually
pick up your vehicle the day before its due to be waxoyled and bring
it back to you either in the evening of the day it is to be waxoyled
or the next day. So ask your insurers to issue you with a 3 day comprehensive,
replacement cover note. Your own insurance will then cover the courtesy
car and our comprehensive insurance will then cover your own vehicle
while it is in our care. Note: if you require the "pick up"
service you will need to give my driver cash for the complete
amount outstanding including pick up charges when he arrives to pick
up your vehicle. In return he will give you the certificate/receipt.
Courtesy Car - now mandatory
Note that in the new premises near Rugby we are out in the sticks and there are no buses so we will not accept your booking unless you also book the courtesy car (equipped with satnav). If you are bringing your vehicle to us yourself you can borrow a Ford Fiesta as a courtesy car and have a great day out exploring Warwickshire while we rustproof your vehicle. You will need to get a one day comprehensive cover note from your insurers. (Some insurers will do this free of charge, some make a nominal charge.) There are now several online insurers offering one day comprehensive cover for a tenner. ecar insurance is one. Just fill in the second part of the terms and conditions and send it to me with your signed terms and conditions and your deposit cheque. While your vehicle is in my care it is covered by my insurance to a limit of £50.000. If your vehicle is worth more than this, extra cover can be arranged for a small fee.

Confirming your booking
Once you have booked in you
will need to send a cheque for £100 (made out to "Before 'n' After)
for the Waxoy treatment together with a signed copy of the "
terms
& conditions for Waxoyl treatment" to confirm your booking
- a blue form will come up after you have completed filling in the diary
and booking form to remind you and give you the address to send them
to. When I receive your cheque, I will send you a receipt and confirmation
and an 16 page information pack telling you how to get here and what
you can do when you are here. Please note: You do not need to send a
covering letter with your cheque - just put the date of your booking
and your telephone numbers on the back of the cheque. If we do not receive
your cheque within two weeks, your booking will be cancelled.
New "loaner satnav" service
The new premises are fantastically
easy to access from all parts of the country. From the North West we are just
two miles from junction 2 of the M6. From the North East, South, London and
South East head for junction 20 of the MI and we are just 4 miles away. From
South Wales and the South West just take M5/42. From Norwich take the A47 and
from Ipswich/Cambridge etc take the A14. We estimate that for 80% of our
customers the new premises will save them a total of 3 hours travelling
compared to our old premises in Newbury. If you do not already have satnav
we can send you our "loaner satnav" to make things even easier. Easy
to follow instructions are on the loaner
satnav terms and conditions
(you will be ready to use the satnav in about 2 minutes) Just
click the tick box for "loaner satnav" when you fill
in the booking form and send a cheque for £200 (instead of the normal
£100) as your deposit. We will send you the satnav in a
jiffy bag with easy to follow instructions by special delivery
to arrive the day before your departure. Note that someone
will need to be in during the day because special delivery can sometimes
arrive later than the normal mail (guaranteed before 12 noon).
You can hand in the satnav when you arrive and we will deduct the deposit
from your final bill but we recommend instead keeping it for the
journey home. We will give you an addressed jiffy
bag. Send it back special delivery and when it arrives we
will send you a cheque for £100 to refund your deposit.
How to book yourself in:
Instructions (you may want to print these instructions off now as a guide for when you go to the diary page).
1. Click on diary
2) Click on the appropriate month and then check to see if the day/time slot you require is free.
3) Now scroll down the page and at the bottom of the diary page you will find a form called "add a booking". If you do select one of these days the booking software will not accept your booNote: do not select Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday as these are not "Motor Caravan" days. If you do select one of these days the booking software will not accept your booking. First of all, use the "Select a vehicle" drop down menu to select "Motor Caravan". Then fill in the rest of the form with your details and the date you have chosen etc. Use the "drop down menu" to select your time slot (Just click on the "time" field and the drop down menu will appear). To book the courtesy car just click the "require courtesy car" tick box. To book the satnav just click the "loaner satnav" tick box.
4) Click on the 'save' button. A blue form appears when you click "save" at the bottom of the form reminding you to send your cheque together with your terms and conditions. The courtesy car booking software will automatically allocate the car available and the cars details will appear on the "blue form".
5) Wait for the "blue
form" to appear. (Your courtesy car details will also appear on
the "blue form".) Please follow instructions on the blue form.
Note: Your booking is only
valid if you have sent a cheque and received my written receipt &
confirmation. Do not travel if you do not have this because I will not
be able to do your car without this.
